What is so special about Primal Beef?

Primal Beef is sourced exclusively from our partner farms in America’s beautiful Shenandoah Valley. Our entire process is proudly American. Born, raised, hand processed and packaged all right here in our Great Country. Our cattle are grass-fed and finished on a special blend of locally grown grains and fruit and never given added hormones or antibiotics. Primal Beef is dry-aged and hand-cut by artisan butchers at Seven Hills Abbattoir. Our meticulous attention to detail throughout this process ensures every bite of Primal Beef is flavorful, tender, well-marbled, and nutrionally dense.

How does your quality compare to others?

You have never experienced beef like ours. Our beef is meticulously cared for, treated with respect, and hand-cut from our partner facility, Seven Hills Abattoir. The result speaks for itself.  Other beef companies and delivery services often source low-quality cuts from cattle not primarily raised for beef consumption, or even worse, they import their meat to help cut costs. We sell only 100% American Black Angus beef from our partner farms. Our mission is to serve Americans the best American beef available, and we will never sacrifice our quality.

Do you have a satisfaction guarantee?

Can I track my order?

You sure can! Just sign into your account. Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking email with a tracking number so you can plan for the arrival of your beef.

Can I have it delivered to my Business Address or my P.O. Box

Sorry, but we cannot deliver to a P.O. box. We also highly recommend NOT using a business address for your order. If your package is delivered when the business is closed, the carrier may not deliver the package until the following business day. This could result in your order fully thawing overnight. Because of this, we are not responsible for order problems that arise from delivery to P.O. boxes or business addresses.

Do You Ship Every Day of The Week?

Great question! No, We ship Monday through Thursday and if you place your order before Noon Central Standard Time, your order will ship that same day. Depending on your location, you will receive your beef within 1-4 days. This is to help ensure you receive your beef during the carrier’s normal delivery times and reduces the risk of delays that could result in thawing. So please plan accordingly. Got that big BBQ coming up this weekend? Don’t place your order on Friday. We would hate for your guests to be served inferior quality beef!

How long does it take to ship?

Standard shipping is 1-4 days.

What States do you ship to?

We ship throughout the continental U.S. to all states. Sorry Alaska and Hawaii. You are just too far from our fulfillment center.

How does the meat stay cold during shipping?

To ensure your beef remains cold during transit, we use specialized, biodegradable insulation and dry ice. The dry ice will naturally evaporate during transit, but if your package arrives with dry ice remaining, please do not touch it with bare hands. Dry ice is extremely cold. We recommend leaving it in the box in a ventilated area, which allows the dry ice to evaporate. If you have to handle the dry ice it’s best to use tongs to avoid contact with your skin. 

What if my order arrived without dry ice?

Dry ice will naturally evaporate during throughout the delivery process. So you may receive a box with dry ice one month, and no dry ice the next month. As long as your beef is cold to the touch, the dry ice has done its job.

What if my order does NOT appear to be completely frozen?

If you touch your beef and it is still cold, then it is safe to put in your freezer or refrigerator, even if it may look partially thawed. Vacuum-sealing limits exposure to oxygen, which means your beef can be stored without risk of spoilage for extended periods. Even if it has partially thawed during transit. If your order is NOT cold to the touch, then please reach out to us at CustomerService@PrimalBeef.com. We do not recommend eating beef that arrives at room temperature.

Should I be home when the beef is delivered?

While you do not have to be home for your order to be delivered, we recommend getting your box inside as soon as possible. This is when your box will be the most exposed to the elements. And while we use specialized materials to protect your beef, you should not leave your order outside longer than 3–5 hours after delivery. Please use your tracking information to help you plan and if you are not around maybe a neighbor or friend can bring it in for you.
